The SkyWay 7000-a true enterprise class system-comes complete with full function bridge/router software. The Skyway 7000 delivers high bandwidth, low cost, and solid performance at impressive distances.

The SkyWay 7000 fully integrates a network engine, digital baseband, radio and antenna into a single, weatherized outdoor chassis, with PoE (Power over Ethernet) support. It combines a high-power 108 Mbps OFDM radio with a high-performance QoS-based bridge/router engine to create a powerful solution for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint broadband wireless needs.

The SkyWay 7000 is available with 5.8 and 4.9 GHz band options, and in three versions: Long-Range, Mid-Range, and Short-Range. The Point-to-Multipoint Base Station is available with an integrated 90-degree antenna or a connectorized option that allows use of an omnidirectional antenna or another sectored antenna. The Point-to-Point Radio is available in connectorized or integrated versions.

The SkyWay 7000 Series uses field-proven technology, ready for commercial deployment. Its OFDM technology delivers a wealth of benefits, including the following:

• High spectral efficiency that supports class-leading data rates, while allowing multiple, non-overlapping channels
  
• Robust operation in near- or non-line-of-sight (NLOS) link conditions, which relaxes the stringent installation requirements of more traditional fixed wireless equipment
  
• The SkyWay 7000's QoS (Quality-of-Service) capabilities employ service-level tagging of the IP and Ethernet frames. Internal inspection of these tags allows real-time traffic to be prioritized for seamless delivery across the RF network.
  
• In the SkyWay 7000, Airstream has delivered on integration, options, and technology to produce a first-choice enterprise solution for delivering bandwidth cost-effectively over a range of distance needs. Impressive.
