New Motorola Canopy DNS/DHCP Management Server

The Mayfield Electric Cooperative in Kentucky needed a new solution for managing and monitoring their Motorola Canopy network. Ideally, the customer was also searching for an efficient way to handle their DNS resolution and DHCP handoffs from the same devise. As a cooperative, cost-efficiency and quality were important components to the success of the project.

Responding to the challenge, ALTIUS designed a server that was capable of handling all their DNS/DHCP needs plus bringing new visibility into their network at a very low cost. The new ALTIUS DNS/DHCP server was delivered and installed within two weeks and has been trouble-free since installation.

The ALTIUS team took the time to listen to the needs of their customer and designed a product that has wide reaching appeal. The Canopy Server solution came in at under $2,500.00 and ALTIUS is now marketing this new product to the rural telco and electric co-op market nationwide.
